Changing My Life Day 3 Of 60

Written by: Aron Brown

It’s day 3 of 60, and I’m still going strong. If you missed my entry for day 2 its: Changing My Life Day 2 Of 60. Today was just as productive as yesterday, I have completed the framework for my flash based tower defense game. All that is left to do on it is fix a few bugs that have managed to sneak their way into the code.

Work was actually pretty busy today due to the fact that the air show got rained out. Although I am glad that I have a job, I am not happy with it. The longer I work there the more I feel that the corporate world no longer appreciates what their employees do for them. It’s time we stand up for our rights, and show them that without us they don’t function.

Tomorrow will not be as productive as today, but thats because I work 13 hours at work. Not much I can do for myself when I’m trapped in a flood of the general public. I’ll end todays blog with a little observation of mine. Tonight after work I was sitting on the hood of my car thinking, and staring at the one star visible in the bright lights of the parking lot. Another employee walked out and told me not to be so depressed, and that everything happens for a reason. I think it is fair to note that she was the last person I expected to try and comfort me. I guess I need to stop judging people without getting to know them. After she left I slid off the roof of my car and looked behind me. There was more stars. I was so blinded by the light of the one star I was obsessed with that I failed to notice the other stars surrounding me.

This is day 3 of 60, and I have learned to open my eyes and see what is around me. To be thankful for what I have, and to not let the things behind me affect my future. This is day 3 of 60, and I’m proud of what I learned.
