Changing My Life Day 6 Of 60

Written by: Aron Brown

Well if anyone is reading this series you would have noticed that I didn’t post last night. I assure you it was not because I didn’t do anything. Yesterday I neglected to post something because I was out late with friends and was too tired to do so. I will be posting twice tonight, for yesterday and today.

Yesterday was an amazingly good day. I woke up early, and went to the bowling alley where I met up with a few friends. One of which I haven’t seen in about five years. It’s funny what time does to your memories and feelings. The reason I haven’t seen him in so long is because we stopped talking. After a disagreement he did something that, back then, I saw as unforgivable. The older I get the more I realize that the things we used to think were important: who’s cool, what’s fashionable, or what are we doing this Friday; they are not all that important.

Forgiveness is a gift we bestow upon others because we want it ourselves. It’s one of the greatest powers we hold as a human being. Old friendships are things worth rekindling. Don’t let old hurts limit you from future growth. This… well yesterday was day 6 of 60, and I have learned to forgive. What have…. what did you do yesterday?
